A small round of fixes and hardening following a full review of the app.

Fixed

  • The League Format toggle could reset itself. After starting a tournament from a league template, leaving the Create a Tournament screen and coming back could flip “League Format” back to No. Saving a template from that state left it out of the season format picker. It now stays set until you change it.
  • Saving a template can no longer create a duplicate. Two saves of the same template name at the very same moment could occasionally write two copies. Saves are now handled one at a time.

Improved

  • The Display on TV screen is harder to snoop. The PIN that protects a screen you share to a TV now locks out repeated wrong guesses from the same device, so another device on your network can no longer rapidly guess its way in.

A round of fixes from a full review of the app, including two that could affect prize money and saved tournaments.

Fixed

  • Auto payouts could show a wrong amount for the last paying place. With a high Minimum Cash setting, the payout sheet could put an incorrect figure on the bottom place and hand out more than the prize pool actually held. The sheet now always adds up to the pool exactly, and no place is ever paid a negative amount.
  • Minimum Cash is now always honored. Previously the last paying place could come out below the minimum you set. If the pool cannot fund every place at that minimum, the app now pays fewer places properly rather than paying one of them short.
  • A tournament with damaged data can no longer lose more of it. If part of a saved tournament or season ever becomes unreadable, editing something unrelated and saving will no longer overwrite the damaged part. Your payouts, structure, chip set, roster and league scoring settings are preserved instead of being replaced with defaults.
  • League Format showed “No” on a league game. It now reads correctly and is locked, like the rest of the format on a league night. Saving a template from a league game now flags it as a League Format, so it appears in the season format picker.
  • A league template’s format now reads the same everywhere. It showed “Rebuy” on the Tournament screen but “Re-Entry” in the Templates list.
  • Editing a tournament very quickly could create a duplicate. Rapid edits while autosave was running could occasionally save the same new tournament twice.

Improved

  • The buy-back prompt now says what it means. Answering “do any players want to rebuy?” used to open a dialog titled “New Entry”. It now says Rebuy (or Re-Entry, matching your tournament’s format).
  • A running league game is easier to get back to. The season’s Games list now has a Go to Live Game button. Previously, closing a live window left you guessing that the row was clickable.
  • The Templates list is less crowded. The “New from Template” button is now Use, and league formats are marked with a small square explained by a key under the filter, instead of a badge that crowded the name.
  • The Display on TV PIN is now 6 digits rather than 4, matching the PIN used for online standings.
