Poker tournament software that actually runs on a Mac

The deepest tool in the category, The Tournament Director, is Windows-only, and most of the alternatives are browser tabs you rent by the month. Final Table Tracker is a native Mac app (and a native Windows one) that runs your whole night right at the table, with no internet required and no subscription.

A real Mac app

Not a browser tab and not a phone app squinting on a laptop. Final Table is a native desktop app built for Mac (and Windows), made to fill the TV or monitor at your table.

Works fully offline

Your game runs on your computer, not a website. No wifi at the cabin or the clubhouse? No problem. Nothing to load, nothing to buffer, nothing that goes down mid-tournament.

Buy it once

One purchase, yours to keep. No monthly fee, no per-event charge, no account required to run your next game.

Same app on Mac & Windows

Host on your MacBook this week and a friend runs it on their Windows PC next week. Identical features on both, so your league never depends on whose computer shows up.

Coming from The Tournament Director?

It is a deep, well loved tool, and its one hard limit is that it only runs on Windows. If that is what sent you here, this is what you get to keep:

  • A blind clock built for the room, on a TV or a second monitor
  • Blind structures you build yourself, or a smooth ladder the app suggests
  • Rebuys, add-ons, and late registration mid-tournament
  • Automatic seating, table balancing, and breaking tables as players bust
  • Prize pools and payout schedules that add up
  • League seasons with standings, points systems, and a championship finale

Run a season on your league and see for yourself. The free tier is a full blind timer with no time limit, and every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial.

Mac FAQ

Running poker tournaments on a Mac

Does The Tournament Director work on a Mac?

No. The Tournament Director is a Windows application, which is the single most common reason Mac hosts go looking for something else. Final Table Tracker is built as a native app for both macOS and Windows, so the same tournament runs on either machine.

Is Final Table Tracker a real Mac app or a website?

A real Mac app. You download and install it, it runs on your own machine, and it does not need a browser tab, an account, or an internet connection to run your game.

Which Macs does it run on?

Both Apple Silicon (M1 and later) and Intel Macs, on recent versions of macOS. There is one universal Mac download that runs natively on either chip, so there is no build to choose between.

Is there a subscription?

No. Paid and Premium are one-time purchases you own and keep, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card to start. The only optional subscriptions are Cloud Standings and the AI Assistant, and the app runs perfectly without either.

Can my Windows friends run the same league?

Yes. The Mac and Windows builds are the same app with the same features, so it does not matter whose computer is hosting this week.

Do I need to be online?

Almost never. You go online once to activate a paid license, and after that the app checks in every few weeks to keep the license current. Running your games needs no connection at all, which matters at the cabin, the clubhouse, or anywhere the wifi is not to be trusted.
